Rochelle L. Verron

Founder & Managing Partner

In 2021, Rochelle L. Verron founded Verron Law Group P.C. Rochelle has more than thirteen years of experience in the area of Elder Law and Trust and Estates, first as a paralegal, then as an attorney. Prior to attending law school, she graduated from John Jay College in New York City with a degree in Criminal Justice. While at John Jay College, Rochelle worked full-time at a boutique elder law firm in Suffolk County, New York. Inspired by her work in the legal field, she went on to attend Touro Law School here on Long Island where she earned her juris doctorate, cum laude. Rochelle focuses her practice in all areas of Elder Law as well as Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Estate Litigation, Guardianships (contested/uncontested), Medicaid applications, Medicaid Appeals (Administrative Fair Hearings), and Real Property. Rochelle is on the Part 36 List to service as Guardian, Court Evaluator, Counsel to the Alleged Incapacitated Person, Counsel to Guardian, Trustee, and Guardian Ad Litem. Rochelle can also provide invaluable support on obtaining Medicaid eligibility with simultaneous or subsequent asset protection. Since 2022, Rochelle has and presently serves as the Co-Chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Elder Law and Estate Planning Committee. Rochelle truly works tirelessly for her clients to provide professional and competent representation. Honors Include:

Christen L. Cassidy

Paralegal

Christen L. Cassidy is a Paralegal at Verron Law Group, P.C. Having five years of experience in Elder Law working under Rochelle L. Verron, her focus areas include Medicaid, Estate Planning, Trusts and Deeds. She has knowledge and experience working on cases involving:

  • Medicaid Asset Protection Planning
  • Chronic Care Medicaid Applications 
  • Community Medicaid Applications
  • Pooled Income Trust Applications
  • Medicaid Recertifications 
  • CDPAP Enrollment
  • MLTC Enrollment and 
  • NYIA Assessments & Evaluations. 
Christen enjoys working with clients and their families to help them navigate through the Medicaid application and evaluation process. Her areas of expertise include assisting those in need of Community based benefits who are eligible to receive Home Care services and those needing placement into an Assisted Living, Short-Term or Long-Term Care Facility.  Offering information to families who have children with special needs and adults that qualify for these governmental benefits. Christen’s goal is to make a difference in each client’s everyday lives by providing exceptional service and personal experience.
